How to Contact
The Isle of Wight Council wants to hear about your experience of our services. We deliver lots of different services to approximately 140,000 people who live on the Island. Whilst we aim to provide good services we realise there may be times when things do go wrong and you may not always be satisfied with the service you receive. You may also receive a service that was better than you expected. Your complaints, compliments and feedback are valuable to us; they can help us improve the services we provide to all our customers.

The Isle of Wight Council is the one island authority that co-ordinates all of the council services on the Island. Our telephone network links all of the main council offices via one call centre.

Making a complaint
You can now submit a complaint online about any of our council services search our full list of AZ council services here. Once you have selected the service you need to complain about, click the contact tab and select the option: make a complaint about this service.

Making a Freedom of Information (FOI) request

We are open:- 08.30 am – 17.00 pm Monday – Thursday 08:30 am – 16:30 pm Friday.
Help Centres deal with enquiries about a wide range of council and other public related services in convenient location across the island.
