Tone Zone gym at Medina

Medina Leisure Centre is an excellent multipurpose sports and leisure centre and includes :,

  • Two swimming pools (lane and casual swimming, water workout classes, swimming lessons).  To view the latest pool programme please click here (PDF, 218.22KB, 2 pages). Separate programmes are issued for all school holidays. 
  • Tone Zone Gym (60 station gym on the first floor with state-of-the-art Pulse fitness equipment, including Pulse lateral trainer, cross trainers, treadmills, Multi-pulley and Smith machine, To read more about the Tone Zone Gym, please click here (PDF, 240.52KB, 2 pages).

  • Two dance studios (new programme of fitness classes in both the first floor activity studio and the ground floor studio in the small gym.  To view the selection of classes on offer, please click here (PDF, 268.24, 2 pages).

  • Sports hall (activities include badminton, basketball and football)

Baby facilities

There are baby changing facilities, baby/toddler seats and playpens in both the male and female pool changing rooms. Swim nappies and armbands are on sale at reception.

When is it open?

Seven days a week.  The Tone Zone gym is open at the following times : 

  • Monday to Friday 7am to 10pm
  • Saturday 9am to 5pm
  • Sunday 9am to 9pm

The centre is closed for certain days between Christmas and New Year, please phone for details.

Parking facilities

There is a public car park on site.

Currently parking in the Arboretum car park is limited to five hours. 

There are now 241 parking spaces on site—the 14 closest to the leisure centre and theatre are designated for blue badge holders.  Charges are not applicable but you should park within the marked bay areas.  Failure to do so may result in a Penalty Charge Notice.
