The 2007 review of the Isle of Wight Children and Young People’s PlanThe Isle of Wight has had to review the progress made in delivering the first children and young people’s plan by 14th June 2007. We must show what the successes have been in improving outcomes for children and young people, especially in raising school standards. The attachment called Arrangements for APA has examples of what this evidence could be. Schools also have to take account of the plan in their planning and to show how they are improving outcomes for children and young people and raising school standards. This review will be used to provide key evidence for our annual performance assessment (APA) self assessment. The review will also include evidence of improvement in outcomes for children and young people because of the first six months in the delivery the Joint Area Review Action Plan. The self assessment was submitted in June 2007 and the inspectors will visit the Isle of Wight on 27 September 2007. If you are a young person, parent, carer, work in services for children, young people and families, or volunteer and you have examples of how outcomes for children and young people have improved over the last year or know of areas that you think need improvement please contact Rachel Dominey, Children's Trust Co-ordinator Directorate of Children & Young People County Hall Newport Isle of Wight PO30 1UD Tel: (01983) 823099 ext 5434 Email: rachel.dominey@iow.gov.uk Click below to access the Arrangements for APA and the Review:
