Harry Potter Party at Cowes Library on Friday 6 February 4pm - 6pm

A Harry Potter Party for 5 - 12 year olds with Huxley Magic, a live owl, games, crafts, Harry Potter inspired refreshments and more.

Please wear your best fancy dress costume!  The event is free and there is no need to book.  Children age 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult.  Adults can dress up too!

Celebrate National Libraries Day Saturday 7 February 10am - 4.30pm

Come and see what the Library has to offer. Borrow books for free, rent DVDs and audio books (when you join, hire one DVD and get one free), information on our online services, magazines, learning and language courses and e-books for free.

Meet Cowes Heritage Group members between 10am and 12pm and see part of their Exhibition 'Life in Cowes 1910 - 1920'.  If you have any photographs or information for their next Exhibition in October entitled 'Celebrations' please bring it along.

Huxley's Magic Hub is on from 10.30am to 12.30pm for anyone over the age of 7 to learn magic tricks.  This workshop is held on the first Saturday of every month and costs £2 per session.  There is no need to books, just come along.

Decade of Change 1910 to 1920 Exhibition

Cowes Heritage Group currently has part of their 'Decade of Change' Exhibition in the Library and will be constantly changing throughout the year showing information about the Great War and other factors during this momentous decade, which meant life in Cowes, Northwood and Gurnard would never be the same. The Exhibition can be seen during normal opening hours.
