Superfast broadband consultation

Start of consultation: 13/01/2012
End of consultation: ongoing - completion tbc

Background:

The council is currently seeking to understand the level of interest in superfast broadband across the Island.

The council has secured funding from central government to help pay for the installation of superfast broadband across the island. This will mean that the Island can have world class, leading edge communications and entertainment services. However, the funding can only be spent where there is real demand for superfast broadband and we want to spend the money wisely.

By completing a short survey, you will help inform our plans for installing superfast broadband and bringing these advanced services to you.

Consultation activity:

Individuals and businesses are encouraged to register their interest in superfast broadband by clicking here.

As well as registering support online, you can also call 01983 823653, where you can request a paper copy of the business or resident broadband survey.
