Service Description: All adults have a right to live dignified and independent lives and to be free from abuse regardless of their age, disability, gender, illness, race or culture.

Nationally there is a growing recognition of the need to offer better protection to adults who may be vulnerable to abuse or harm and unable to ensure their own safety without intervention by an agency such as Social Services or the Police.
