Contact Details – Boarding Fees for PetsService Description: Under the N.A. Act 1948 we have a duty to secure the property of clients admitted to residential/nursing home/hospital care in an emergency, which includes a responsibility for making arrangements for and meeting the cost of looking after their pets. Where there is no appropriate alternative and where the client is unable to meet the cost of the fees from their own resources, the directorate will meet the cost of caring for animals for a period of two weeks. Any extension beyond that will be by exception. Also known as:- Animal Welfare, Pet Care
