The purpose of the group is to ensure implementation of the Common Assessment Process by December 2008.  It will oversee the implementation for phase 1 of integrated working and take responsibility for the planning for subsequent phased implementation to be Island wide coverage by December 2008.
 

The Integrated Working Board has identified the CAF Steering Group to exist for a time limited period with the remit of the above purpose.  Reports will be provided to the Integrated Working Board by the Chair of Task Group who will be a member of the Board.
 
The Task Group will be time limited until December 2008 or until the Integrated Working Board requires the task group to exist.  It will have close links with the Targeted Youth Support Steering Group and reports from each group will be a regular agenda item on both groups. Both groups will play a significant role in the implementation for the first phase of integrated working and as such need to have a close relationship.
 
The Task Group will be supported by a Project Manager who will report directly to the CAF Lead for Preventive Services and regular updates given to the Head of Preventive Services, IOW Council, who is leading integrated working and is Chair of the Integrated Working Board.
 
The Integrated Working Board is accountable to the Children’s Trust Executive.

 

Members have been identified from the main partners and will be of appropriate seniority to be able to make decisions on behalf of their team and organisation.  Each member is responsible for ensuring that the teams they represent and their organisation are kept informed of developments. Where significant impact on organisation budgets or policies are identified the representative will be responsible for reporting back on outcomes of discussion within their organisation.
