Education Welfare ServiceThis Service is responsible for fulfilling statutory responsibilities of the Local Education Authority (in respect of school enrolment, attendance, exclusions and juvenile employment) Queries about Child Entertainment Performance Licences and Child Employment can be addressed to Education Welfare, Thompson House, 533523 Enquiries concerned with Exclusions and Inclusion should be addressed to Doug Wright (Senior Education Officer – Access and Inclusion) at County Hall. Education Welfare Officers are not based at Thompson House. They can be reached through the following contact numbers from September 2006:
