Waste Collection, Recycling and Disposal

The Isle of Wight Council is responsible for the collection, recycling and disposal of waste from approximately 64,500 domestic properties on the Island. The Isle of Wight Council works in close partnership with Island Waste Services to provide these services as part of the Integrated Waste Management Contract. The Isle of Wight is consistently one of the top 5 performing local authorities for recycling of household waste.
