Collecting Your WasteClinical WasteThe Isle of Wight Council does not provide a collection of clinical waste. Collections of such wastes can be arranged through your doctor or St Marys Hospital. ![]() Please do not place lose sharps in your domestic waste sacks as these can cause injury not only to the staff who collect the black bags but also staff at the RRF plant and the landfill site who may need to handle your waste. A take back scheme is operated by chemists who will provide a sharps box and replace it with an empty one when you take in your full one. |
