The Traffic Management Section are responsible for a range of functions that collectively promote and improve road safety, reduce congestion and manage the movement of all road users across the highway network. Some of the services we provide are:

Abnormal loads
Access protection bars
Brown and white tourist signs
Coordination of road works
Disabled bays
New bus shelters
Permanent traffic signals
Road safety schemes
Road closures
Temporary traffic signals
Traffic regulation orders (eg speed limits and double yellow lines)
