Training and Development Strategy

Request for Comments - Draft 1

The overall vision for the Council in terms of ICT, is to be able to provide every suitable service (internal and external) by electronic means by the end of 2005.

This is a substantial target which will require staff across the authority to be skilled in the procurement, management and use of technology. To assist this, we are in the process of developing a first draft ICT training and development strategy and you are invited to comment on the work done so far.

The strategy extends beyond the simple use of ICT to include issues such as procurement, business change and risk management and you are welcome to comment on as much or as little of the document as you wish.
