The education room has a reconstructed Roman kitchen with examples of food, pottery and cooking utensils.
The room is open to the public at most times but can be booked for school workshops. | | | | Special rates for adult and school groups. Family activity classes run throughout the summer holidays. | | | The education room is full of practical activities to help you find out more about Roman life. Discover more about Roman food and cooking. Try your hand at weaving a Roman style blanket. Want to be a builder? Arrange the roof tiles so that the rain runs away. | Group Charges Adult groups £1.75 per person. Free guided tour Booking essential | | Standard School Visit (Recommended visit time 1 hour / 1 hour 30 minutes)

Enhanced visit includes a guided tour, a facilitator led workshop and a self-guided photograph hunt. £2.50 per child
