An outline of the permits has been listed below and by clicking on the links provided, you can view or download the application forms and terms and conditions should you wish to do so.

Long Stay Parking Permit

From April a new option to pay for your long stay permit will be available. Details and the online form will be added to the site soon.
In the mean time only use the link below if you wish to order a permit and pay for it by debit/credit card.

Permit details	Unlimited use in any Council long stay car park (Excluding Dinosaur Isle & Browns Golf Course and Ventnor Botanic Gardens).
Who can purchase	Anyone
Documents Req.	N/A
Max permits	Unlimited
Period available	3 months (£135) 6 months (£260) and 12 months (£500)

Tourist Parking Permit – Coaches

Permit details	Unlimited use in all Council owned Pay and Display Coach bays
Who can purchase	Anyone
Documents req.	N/A
Max permits	Unlimited
Period available	Overnight (£10), 4 day (£40) and 7 day (£60)
The permits are available from: Royal Pier Hotel, Esplanade, Sandown, PO30 8JP Burlington Hotel, Avenue Road Sandown, PO36 8BN Ocean Hotel, High Street, Sandown, PO36 8AB Tarvic 2 Hotel, 13-15 Culver Parade, Sandown, PO36 8AS The Aqua Hotel, 17 The Esplanade, Shanklin, PO37 6BN Additionally, they can be purchased over the telephone by calling 01983 823714 and online at iwight.com.

Tourist Parking Permit – Cars

Permit details	The permit will be 'town specific' and this means the permits will be available for one of 7 locations as follows: * Ryde (includes Bembridge, Seaview & St Helens) * Ventnor * Sandown (including Lake) * Shanklin * Cowes (including East Cowes) * Newport * West Wight
Who can purchase	Anyone
Documents req.	N/A
Max permits	Unlimited
Period available	£11 for 2 day, £17 for 3 days, £22 for 4 days, £38 for 7 days and £70 for 14 days.

Residents Parking Permits

Residents’ (Pay & Display) Permit – Newport on-street

Permit details	Unlimited stay in one nominated street (in which Resident lives)
Who can purchase	Residents of the street in which charges apply
Documents req.	Completed application form, Council Tax and Vehicle Registration document
Max permits	One per household
Period available	12 Months
Cost	£45

Permit details	Unlimited stay on the specific esplanade (in which Resident lives)
Who can purchase	Only residents of the esplanade in which charges apply
Documents req.	Completed application form, Council Tax and Vehicle Registration document (proof of vehicle ownership and residency)
Max permits	One per household
Period available	Valid for chargeable summer period (April- October)
Cost	£ 46.20

Who can purchase	Only residents within 200 metres radius of the requested car park

Max permits	One
Period available	12 Months
Cost	£150.

Max permits	Two

Residents’ Parking Zone Visitors

Permit details	Single day scratch card for visitor to resident living within parking zone
Who can purchase	A resident of a property within an eligible zone
Documents Req.	Completed application form, proof of residence
Max permits	5 books of 10 scratch cards per quarter
Period available	Single day
Cost	£5.00 per book of ten scratch cards
