Looked After Children (0-16 years) Team
The Looked After Children (0-16 years) Team are responsible for all looked after children on the Island between the ages of 0 and 16 where the long term plan is for permanence away from their families. The team works closely with the Looked After Children (16+) Team and the Fostering and Adoption Service Team.
The team are responsible for the health, education and overall wellbeing of looked after children both on the Island and in mainland agency placements.
The team have a pro-active approach to improving the life chances of looked after children, in conjunction with other agency colleagues.
