From Monday 2 January collections return to normal and for the kerbside recycling box it will be a WEEK A collection

Snow
If it should snow (or there is snow cover from a previous day) on your refuse / recycling collection day your refuse will not be collected until the correct day the following week (or fortnight for the box)- assuming that the snow has cleared by this time. If this should happen please take your rubbish back from the kerbside to within your property and place it kerbside by 7am the following week. Information will be available to update you on the service from the websites ( see below) and local Radio.

Containers for recycling real Christmas trees will be in the following locations from Friday 30 December to Wednesday 11 January inclusive:

East Cowes Esplanade Car Park
Lake New Road Car Park
Ryde Waltzing Waters Car park
Somerton Park & Ride

Christmas Trees can also be placed with garden waste at all household waste recycling centres

From the end of January these can be placed in your new recycling wheelie bin or clear recycling bag.
