Medina is a rapidly expanding school, now over-subscribed because of its popularity. We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring Teacher of Mathematics to join our forward thinking team in our new purpose built Maths and ICT block, which encompasses state-of-the-art technology. GCSE and A Level courses are thriving and results are improving every year and we now deliver the International Baccalaureate.

The Isle of Wight Local Authority is currently engaged in a re-organisation of its school system to 11-19 Secondary Schools. The proposed change to the school system will be phased in from September 2010 and our current 13-19 school will close and re-open as a new 11-19 school on 1 September 2011. Candidates can be assured that
this is a full time permanent position and employment rights are protected through the reorganisation process in accordance with the national terms and conditions.
