Biography:	I have lived in Shanklin South for over 20 years. I live with my partner, Colin, and our 3 year old son. Gino. my horse lives at Cliff Farm and I also have a Pointer called Ben, a Standard Poodle called Hugo and a Siamese Sealpoint called Milly completes the menagerie. A great fan of Shanklin and the Isle of Wight I look forward to the opportunity of ensuring Shanklin's interests are well considered at County Hall. I learnt to fly at Isle of Wight Airport, Sandown and have held a PPl for over ten years. I joined Shanklin and Sandown Golf Club over 10 years ago but my handicap does not get any lower. This year I walked the Wight again, (well it is in such a good cause) but only got as far as Freshwater, I must try harder in 2006. I enjoy reading and gardening but my reading has been rather restricted to reports and agendas lately. I have run a small 18 bedroom hotel in Shanklin and have worked for British Airways and ILG as Resort Manager, and finally Iberian Manager. Despite that my Spanish is only passable, my German conversational at best - but on the whole my English is quite good. However,I still can't finish the Telegraph crossword most days! I have always been interested in politics and was delighted to be elected to the Shanklin Town Council and in May to the Isle of Wight Council.
