I was elected to represent the Newchurch Ward on May 5th.2005, I am pleased and honoured to represent those of you who live in Apse, part of Whitely Bank, Branston, Winford, Alverstone and Knighton.
As a much travelled ex-Serviceman, I value through experience the unique character of our Ward and hope to serve all the residents with the competence and honesty that is being promoted by my group in County Hall.
Whilst in office, I wish firstly to promote and support all community projects particularly those that improve our environment and provide for our children and youth. Secondly,attempt to have our rural road systems improved and made safer for both users and residents.

Biography:	Born 1940 educated at local schools, paid just sufficient attention to sit and pass the open examination to be accepted into the Royal Navy at 15yrs.old as an Engineering Apprentice. Rose through the ranks to Chief Technician at 28 before being Commissioned as an Engineer Officer in 1969. All sea service spent in Frigates and Destroyers with the exception of a year and half spent surveying the coast of North Borneo with the Admiralty Hydrographic service.
