Welcome to my website.

It is a privilege representing the residents of Nettlestone and Seaview on the Isle of Wight Council, a pleasure I have had since May 2005. I also continue to represent the Council on the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Police Authority. I am also the Cabinet Member responsible for Safer Neighbourhoods.

I have really enjoyed my third year as your elected member dealing with your concerns and problems and look forward to a challenging fourth year. My term of office lasts until May 2009.

If you would like to raise any issues with me, either as a resident of Nettlestone and Seaview, or as the Council's representative on the Police Authority please do not hesitate to get in touch. Surgery Details

Surgeries are held on the first Tuesday of every month. They are held at the Seaview Hotel, Seaview from 2.15pm until 3.00pm and then the Roadside Inn, Nettlestone from 3.15pm until 4.00pm.

Biography:	Diana was born in Birmingham in 1952, but due to her Father's employment in the motor industry lived all over the country which she enjoyed. She is married to Peter, a retired Police officer, and they have four grown up daughters. They have both been coming to the island since they were children and agree that this is a fantastic place to live. They bought their house in Nettlestone in 1996. Diana's Mother also lives in the village. Diana was elected to represent Seaview and Nettlestone on the IOW Council in 2005 and is the Council's representative on the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Police Authority. She is the Cabinet member responsible for Safer Communities which she finds very challenging. She Continues to serve on the Parish Council a position she has filled since February 2004. She is also also a Justice of the Peace (JP) and sits on the Isle of Wight Bench twice a month. She is a Governor at Bishop Lovett School and Nettlestone Primary School. She has been involved in politics for twenty two years and served on a Metropolitan council for the nine of those. She enjoys walking their dogs Buzz and Daisy and when she has any spare time likes reading, cooking, gardening, theatre and music.
