Jilly Wood

Welcome to My Website

Jilly WoodI am now in my second year as your Councilor for Wroxall and Godshill. Last year was very challenging and we kept our Manifesto promise to achieve a Council tax rise of inflation or below, this year we will continue to honour our election promise.

I will continue to serve you as residents and provide a strong voice for you on the Isle of Wight Council, we have some tough decisions to make this coming year, unlike the last administration, we will not shy away from them, we have a Manifesto in which we pledged our loyalty to serving you all and we will keep our promises.

If you live in the Wroxall & Godshill ward and would like to raise any issues, please get in touch on 856008 or email - jilly.wood@iow.gov.uk, No issue is too big or small and I will endeavour to answer your questions.

Regards to you all,
Cllr Jilly Wood

Jilly has three grown up children and three beautiful grandchildren who regularly visit her here on the Island.

She started her professional career in 1975 and is now semi-retired after having spent a number of years with BT as a Customer Services Manager and with Prudential as a consultant and continues to advise on financial affairs.

Jilly is a governor at Godshill Primary School, She is a committee member on a local Registered Charity that provides recreational activities for children of primary school age.

We have it on good authority that her handicap is now 27 so still some improvement needed there !
