Biography:	I run a business in Nodehill in Newport, where my family have been shopkeepers since 1946. After attending 3 Newport schools I was lucky enough with the aid of IW Education Authority to complete my BSc Degree in London. After working in the capital for a number of years, I felt the draw of the Island and returned 17 years ago. My son and I live five minutes from County Hall which means I can still meet him off the school bus ! I have undertaken further training in the area of healing in the last ten years and find this hugely rewarding. I cannot really express how much being elected to IW Council means to me and I look forward to bringing all of my skills into use into my new role.
