Paul Fuller - JP (Justice of the Peace) I'd like to say a very big thank you to each of the 819 residents who voted for me in the recent Isle of Wight Council Elections. For the next four years it will remain a considerable privelege to represent the whole of our community's views in County Hall.

I have joined the Isle of Wight Independent Group, which comprises of a loose affilliation of the 10 non-party aligned members, whose mandate is solely to put the needs of their residents' first. Our group will have no permanent leader, and was formed solely to ensure 'Independents' receive fair proportionality in the allocation of seats within committees

If any resident has any queries they wish to discuss with me, please do not hesitate to let me know. I welcome the opportunity to meet residents at their convenience, or alternatively hold surgeries throughout the month. As a rule of thumb my surgeries are as follows:

1st Wednesday: 6 - 6.30pm, Northwood House, Ward Avenue, Cowes.
2nd Tuesday: 5 - 5.30pm, IW Community Club, Park Road, Cowes.
2nd Tuesday: 6 - 6.30pm, Portland Inn, Worsley Road, Gurnard.
3rd Wednesday: 11 - 11.30am, The Woodvale, Princes Esplanade, Gurnard.
4th Wednesday: 11 - 11.30am, Little Gloster, Marsh Road, Gurnard

I remain adamant that I am elected to represent your views first and not the views of County Hall, my group or the views which I personally uphold as an individual. If an issue remains unresolved after 14 days, or if I don't get back to you about anything you've raised, please do not hesitate to give me a hard time!!

Biography:	My family has lived in and around the Cowes Area for many generations, and I was born and raised in Gurnard attending Gurnard, Solent and Cowes High Schools On returning to the Island in 1990, I became active 'politically' within the Green Party and was selected to stand for Council before becoming the youngest prospective MEP in the the European Elections in 1994. Disenchanted in Party Politics in local decision making, I became Independent and from 1995 until 2001 I represented Ryde North East as Councillor. I returned to the Cowes Area in 2000, and have been an active Town Councillor for Cowes from 2001 until 2005; a Parish Councillor for Gurnard from 2005 until 2009 and Parish Councillor for Northwood since 2008. I have been a school Governor since 1995. In 2004 I helped to relaunch Island Governors and have served on several bodies outside the Isle of Wight Council including the Schools Forum, The Isle of Wight Association of Local Councils and served on the IW Council's Scrutiny Committee for a short time in 2009. In 2001, I became a Justice Of The Peace. I have been married to my long suffering wife, Karen since 1993 and have two children Caelan, and Zara who both attend local schools

Registers of Interests may be viewed at County Hall, Newport during normal office hours.
