Mr Peter Andrew Humber

Welcome to My Website

Peter Andrew HumberI was elected as the new IW councillor for Newport North in a by-election in August 2007 and my term of office lasts until May 2009. I am honoured that local people chose me to be their representative on the Island's authority for this time - and I am proud to be serving my hometown of Newport.

My role is to speak out on behalf of all the residents of Newport North, irrespective of how or whether they voted. I am already working hard to provide a strong and effective voice for local people, on a whole range of issues.

It is essential that any local councillor takes the views and concerns of their constituents forward to the Council. If you live within Newport North, I hope that you will take the opportunity to contact me, in confidence, on any matter relating to council business with which you would like assistance or advice.

I can be reached at home on 866963 or by email: peter.humber@iow.gov.uk.
