CPA & JAR Inspection Results

This week Isle of Wight Council has had two important benchmarks which have shown how the council has been performing. The first was our Comprehensive Performance Assessment (CPA), based on the inspection carried out by the Audit Commission in May.

The second was the Joint Area Review (JAR) of all Island Children’s Services including the council, health, and other partner organisations. This took place in two phases between March and May this year and was conducted by a multi-disciplinary team of inspectors.

Draft Improvement Plans

Draft improvement plans have now been published in response to both reports.
