The Disability Discrimination Act

From the 1st October 2004, organisations which provide goods and services to the public will be required by the Disability Discrimination Act to ensure that their premises and services can be accessed by disabled persons.

The Property Services department recently hosted a one day seminar on the forthcoming Act which provided guidance on DDA and its legislation.
