South East Employers is also changing and our ambition is to be the first point of contact for local authority HR professionals in the South East. This is an exciting time to join our team. We are one of nine Regional Employers’ Organisations in the UK providing services to 74 County, Unitary, Borough and District Councils, and to over 130 smaller public sector organisations. We are seeking an HR Business Partner to support and enhance the HR function of our local authorities by providing expert advice, support and guidance to HR professionals, elected members, senior managers across the region; and by building regional networks to share knowledge and experience. In addition, your role will involve consultancy support and training in specialist employment areas, and you will share in achieving our income target. Through your excellent communication, influencing and conciliation skills you will establish sound working relationships with our authorities and regional trade union representatives, as well as establishing links with other regional and national bodies. Your contribution will add value to our customers in meeting their business objectives. Experienced in working and managing change at a senior level, your ambition will be to build your portfolio of achievements and establish a personal reputation for excellence – particularly in areas of employment law, organisational change and local government conditions of employment.
