ESTATE RECORDSThe records of over a dozen estates have been deposited at the Record Office. The quantity and range of material which survives for a particular estate varies, but typical types of documents include title deeds, accounts, correspondence, maps and surveys. Some of the collections date back to the sixteenth century, others do not begin until the seventeenth or eighteenth. Some of the catalogues are available online via the national Access to Archives database. See the Estates Catalogues page for direct links to these collections.
