SOUTH EAST PLANThe South East Plan will set out a long-term strategy for future development in the South East region. It will show how we should meet growing demands for homes, jobs and transport while protecting the environment, so that the region continues to be an attractive place to live, visit and work. The South East England Regional Assembly (SEERA) submitted the Plan to the Government on 31 March 2006 and its approval is expected in early 2008. The area covered by the South East Plan is the South East Region, which comprises the county and unitary council areas in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, East Sussex, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Kent, Oxfordshire, Surrey and West Sussex. More information on work being done on the South East Plan can be found on the SEERA website. |
