MONITORING REPORTS
A great deal of information is needed to prepare adequate long-term plans for the Island. The team monitors the effectiveness of the UDP policies and collects data on matters such as land-use, employment, population and housing, for use in many aspects of the Council’s work. In particular, the Council prepares an Annual Monitoring Report, which reports progress on the LDF, and the performance of policies and objectives within its development plan documents. The most recent AMR is the report for 2007/2008 has been submitted to GOSE and can be now downloaded. The 2006/2007 AMR can be downloaded here. The 2005/2006 AMR can be downloaded here. WHAT OTHER INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE?There are various sources for information about the Island. A lot of the data that we use is supplied to us by the Office for National Statistics. ONS have developed a website to share neighbourhood statistics, a site where you can look at data about specific towns, wards, counties, local authorities, or specific issues such as housing or economy. |
