The Heights Leisure Centre

The Heights Leisure Centre in Sandown is open all year with facilities for everyone, with activities from swimming to squash, fitness classes to a health suiteTone Zone gym and training. The Heights also has four squash courts for both casual and league games.

The cafe overlooks the pool area and serves a selection of drinks and snacks. A popular time to visit is for lunch when a selection of freshly prepared pasta and salads is available to complement those exercising and wanting a healthy bite to eat. 

Baby facilities

There are baby changing facilities, baby/toddler seats with support straps and playpens in both the male and female pool changing rooms and in the female toilets in the cafe area.

Swim nappies and armbands are on sale at reception.  Cafe staff are happy to heat baby food or milk during opening hours.

When is it open?
Seven days a week. For opening times, please phone for details. The centre is closed for certain days between Christmas and New Year, please phone for details.   The Tone Zone, Health Suite, squash courts and Far Infrared Therapy Cabin will all close at 8pm instead of 10pm.

Is there parking?
There is a public car park on site.  There is three hours free parking for Heights customers but you must obtain a parking ticket when you park.

Which bus will get me there?
Routes 2, 3 and 8 stop right outside.

There’s a 25m pool plus a small pool ideal if you’re learning to swim and also for water workout classes.

Health Zone

HealthlinkThe Health Zone predominantly caters for specific clients, for example those who are mobility impaired, or those who find it difficult to access the Tone Zone gym due to the steps. The Health Zone is also open to the public as an ‘overflow’ facility from the Tone Zone – please ask at reception for daily opening times.
