Brighstone Community Library

Brighstone Community Library will be closing the New Road premises at 5.00pm on Thursday 23rd February. We will be closed for 8 days until we will open in North Street at 10.00 am on Saturday 3rd March. For more information about the library and to find out more about the move, come along to our National Libraries Day open day on 4th February.
 
To celebrate the move we have arranged a Book Fayre at the Wilberforce Hall during the day and in the evening the author of “Oh, the Mad Caradoc!”, Ken Alexander, will be giving a talk. 

We have organised a Scottish Fiddlers Evening in the Wilberforce Hall on Sunday 19th February at 7.30 pm. This should be a really fun evening as the Fiddlers are very entertaining(www.scottishfiddlers.co.uk)  Tickets priced £3.00 for adults, £2.50 for Senior Citizens and Students, and £1.00 for accompanied children under 16, are available from Brighstone Community Library and from The Village Newsagents or e-mail brighstonecommunitylibrary@hotmail.co.uk.

Brighstone Library Health Walks take place fortnightly, starting at 1.30pm. Come and join us for a flat walk at your own pace with fully trained Health Walk Leaders. The walks last about an hour and finish with refreshments at the library. Check with the library for the date of the next walk.
