| Changes to Parts F, J & L Changes to Parts F (Ventilation), J (Combustion appliances and fuel storage systems) and L (Conservation of Fuel and Power) of the Building Regulations come into effect from 1st October 2010. These regulations are aimed at reducing carbon emissions from controlled buildings by 25%, and at the same time ensure that this does not have a negative impact on the quality of air in buildings and also ensure that combustion appliances will operate safely and effectively.
