Where can I find out about walks and events on the Island?
- The Countryside Section compile a list of guided walks throughout the year that are run by organisations and individuals and cover a wide range of interests. For other events on the Island see the events page or contact IOW Tourism on 01983 813818.

How can I get a copy of the walks leaflet?
- The Council's Island Countryside Services produce a free leaflet every April and September called 'Wight Summer' and 'Wight Winter' respectively. Each one has between 50-100 walks as well as other events.To get up a free copy, send an email with your name and address to countryside@iow.gov.uk with the title 'Island Walks Leaflet'. The leaflet can also be downloaded in .pdf format here by visiting the walks and events website.
