Mondays and Fridays are normally busier days.

Telephone lines are exceptionally busy on Mondays due to enquiries resulting from the publication of new Planning Applications in the County Press.

Lunchtime (12.00 – 2.00) – Reception can be busier over this period and calling by telephone may result in a message being taken.

Personal visits are currently required to view historical planning files – but work is underway to enable online viewing in the future.

General planning guidance and questions regarding Permitted Development will be given by our Customer Information Team wherever possible – this allows Planning Officers to concentrate on their specialist skills of processing current applications.

Pre-application discussions with appropriate Planning Officers will recommence on Monday 13 June 2005 – appointments can be arranged from Monday 6th June, by contacting the Customer Information Team or by visiting Reception. You are advised to read the advisory leaflet before making an appointment.
