APPEALSPlanning Applications can be controversial and the decision made by the Council can sometimes lead to an appeal. Appeals may be made for a number of reasons, but most are made because the Council has refused Planning Permission. An appeal should be the last resort and would normally only arise after unsuccessful negotiations with the Development Control section. In England, appeals are made to the Planning Inspectorate which is part of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister. Further advice and guidance is contained within the Planning Inspectorate’s website, but should you wish you can write or contact them by phone at the following location: The Planning Inspectorate Temple Quay House 2 The Square Temple Quay Bristol BS1 6PN Tel: 0117 372 6372 |
