URBAN CAPACITY STUDY

Recent Government guidance in Planning Policy Guidance Note 3 highlighted the Government’s commitment to promote more sustainable patterns of development, by maximizing the re-use of previously developed land (brownfield sites).

The Urban Capacity Study aims to provide a realistic estimate of the level of additional development that could potentially be accommodated on the Island, within existing urban areas.
