Recycling Collection
The black are collected fortnightly at the same time as your
general refuse. Click on your town or village to view the street names and
find out whether you are a week A or a week B collection. If your street does
not
appear in your chosen area try an adjoining area; eg. if you live in Ryde your
street might appear in the Binstead listing.
Please place your boxes at the kerbside by 7.00 am. The black boxes
can be used to recycle newspapers, stapled magazines, glass bottles, glass jars,
and textiles but not cardboard, junk mail, catalogues, plate glass or
drinking glasses.
The green bucket can be used for fruit and vegetable peelings,
tea bags, egg shells, cooked and uncooked food waste including bones.
