HAMPSHIRE & IOW YOUTH GAMES

The Hampshire & IOW Youth Games is an annual multi-sports competition for 6 - 16 year olds and is the largest event of its kind in the county with over 1,500 competitors, 200 volunteers and countless spectators.

It offers many youngsters their first taste of a large-scale sports competition and for many can lead on to their development and competition at a higher level. It also develops young people through wider opportunities such as officiating, umpiring, coaching and volunteering.

The Isle of Wight has seen great success over the years at these games with teams from Athletics, Hockey and Netball often returning with medals.

This year's Hampshire Games will take place at Aldershot Sports Facilities on Friday 10 June (Parallel Games) and Saturday 11 June (Youth Games).
