FUNDING IN SPORT

The IOW Council Sports Development Unit is committed to supporting the masses of sports clubs, individuals, coaches, officials and volunteers who help contribute to sporting success on the Island. Whether you be a national athlete or a linesman at your local football club there is financial support available to help you.

Within this page you will find both a National and a Local Sports Funding Database which is designed to help you find funding sources which are applicable to you.

You will also find detailed information on three funding sources which are governed and administered by the Sports Development Unit.
