PopulationThe Isle of Wight mid-year population figure for 2007 is 138,500 . The document below shows 2005 mid-year population figures for the Isle of Wight by broad age range for local Lower Super Output Areas (SOA) (which is the geography used by the Office of National Statistics (ONS)) . The document also lists the Wards to which the SOA belong. There is also a document explaining the Super Output Area geography methodology. 2005 is the latest year for which this detailed level of information is currently available.
