Citizens Access Portal
You can access your Council Tax account via the Isle of Wight Citizens Access portal to do the following:
Register for Council Tax, click on Council Tax Notification.
Report a change - use the unique On-Line Access Code shown on your most recent bill. To view an example of a bill please click here (PDF, 298.96kb, 1 page) to view your payments and account balance, set up or amend a direct debit or notify us of a change, please click on the following link: Account Details.
Make a property enquiry - check your council tax banding charges by clicking on the following link: Property Enquiry.
Please Note: you can save your answers and return to complete the notification within 28 days, after which the information will be deleted.
Please note - you will not be able to view your council tax account details without correctly inputting the following information:
Full Name - your name as it appears exactly on your council tax bill.
Your Online Access Code - This is shown at the top of your bill. Note: Each time we issue you with a bill the online access code changes, so check you are using the latest code.
Contact Details - the last three digits of your bank account if you pay by Direct Debit, or the last three digits of any telephone number you may have supplied.
