Citizens Access Portal
You can access your Council Tax account via the Isle of Wight Citizens Access portal to do the following:
Report a change - use the unique On-Line Access Code shown on your most recent bill (PDF, 298.96kb, 1 page) to view your payments and account balance, set up or amend a direct debit or notify us of a change, please click on Account Details.
Make a property enquiry - check your council tax banding charges by clicking on Property Enquiry.
Please Note: you can save your answers and return to complete the notification within 28 days, after which the information will be deleted.
Notification of changes retrospectively or in advance of 30 days cannot be actioned by Citizens Access. Please telephone 823901 for advice.
Please note - you will not be able to view your council tax account details without correctly inputting the following information:
Full Name - your name as it appears exactly on your council tax bill.
Your Online Access Code - This is shown at the top of your bill. Note: Each time we issue you with a bill the online access code changes, so check you are using the latest code.
Contact Details - the last three digits of your bank account if you pay by Direct Debit, or the last three digits of any telephone number you may have supplied.
