Cowes Heritage Ongoing Exhibition: 'Celebrations'

The ongoing Cowes Heritage display in Cowes Library is currently showing 'Celebrations' containing a mixture of interesting local celebrations highlighting the Solent Middle School Silver Jubilee 1972 - 1997.  The display shows photos from the classes of '97 and other events from the days festivities.  In 2011 the changes to the Isle of Wight education system to a 2 tier meant the closure of Solent Middle School and the site and grounds being taken over by Gurnard Primary School.  The Exhibition also covers various other celebrations.
