Philo Cafe at Cowes Library on the 3rd Thursday of every month between 7.00pm - 9.00pm.

This is a monthly event, sponsored by the Society for the Furtherance of Critical Philosophy and is open to anyone who wants to take part in philosophical discussion about topics that matter in our lives, but in a casual way and is based on our own experiences.

Champions! Stories, Games and Craft Activities  on Friday 19th August 10.30am - 11.45am

This is a free event and there is no need to book. Under 8s must be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout. This event is suitable for 4 - 8 year olds.

'Harvest' Season of Plenty or Excess? Join the Island Storytellers at Cowes Library on Monday 19th September 7.30pm onwards.

An evening of harvest stories. 1st half: Tales told by Marion Carmicael,  2nd half: open mic: Your chance to tell a tale.

Cowes Library is 75 years old!

There is a TIME-SCAPE display showing some of the main events with pictures and newspaper articles since the Library was first opened.

Dance Fit! Sessions in Cowes Library every Tuesday 6.30pm - 8.00pm

Run by Lily's Dance.  Dance Fit is a fun way to get fit. Its friendly dance fitness session suits all abilities.

It costs £4.50 per session. No need to book. You can bulk buy 4 sessions for £16 valid only for month of purchase.

Cowes Heritage Ongoing Exhibition: 'Celebrations'

The ongoing Cowes Heritage display in Cowes Library is currently showing 'Celebrations' containing a mixture of interesting local celebrations covering Cowes, Northwood and Gurnard. The exhibition can be seen during normal opening hours and is changed on a monthly basis.
