Local Alcohol Action Area Project Officer, Ref: 50054527

Grade 9, being £14,674.46 to £16,272.16 per annum

Hours: 21 per week

Fixed Term Contract for 6 months (secondment considered)

This is an opportunity to work in one of the most beautiful and safest places in the South of England delivering an innovative community safety project to reduce alcohol related harm and crime.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with experience of managing projects to deliver the local Alcohol Action Area programme for the IOW Community Safety Partnership.

The Project officer will develop and deliver projects within the Local Alcohol Action Area programme plan working with a wide range of stakeholders and partners.

You will be educated to NVQ level 4 or have equivalent qualifications and have experience of working in community safety and substance misuse area.

Along with excellent written and oral communication skills, you will be able to analyse a wide range of information and also exercise a high level of initiative and use discretion and judgement when dealing with confidential matters. You will have experience of managing projects and partnership working and have a proven ability to create and maintain effective working relationships.
