The Isle of Wight Council is continuing to advise members of the public to stay away from a section of beach at Sandown as a precautionary measure, following the bringing ashore on the beach of a 36ft motor cruiser for salvaging which ran aground offshore overnight (Wednesday).

Attendees were absorbed throughout the “Isle of Opportunities” showcase, hearing details of the regeneration opportunities available at key sites across the Island, including Newport Harbour, Ryde, and in the Bay area.

From Saturday 15 July, children can join Animal Agents, the Summer Reading Challenge 2017, and sign up for a great summer of reading.
